Male, Apple Head Chihuahua- Rescue for sale in Apple Valley, California

This is Hilton, he is a four pound, male Apple Head Chihuahua. Hilton is a rescue that was found on the streets, with out a collar or microchip. Hilton is approx. 4 years old. Hilton is UTD on shots, dewormed, has had his teeth recently cleaned (he has good teeth, all still there as well), and has been neutered. He's good with other animals. So far exposed to other dogs (large and small), cats, and rats.

Hilton is very sweet and no where near living up to the bad rap that a Chihuahua typically has. Other than to alert or if chaos is going on, Hilton is not a barker. He does have little squeaks to communicate. Most of the time, he's quiet. Hilton does very well in car rides and does enjoy them. He rides in the car either in my lap, or on a booster seat (a human childs). I do feed him dry food, to maintain hes teeth, which is extremely important. Aside from losing their teeth to eat, tarter build up will and can lead to several different health issues (as its ingested over time). He loves his Greenies too, so I'd recommend to continue to buy them (petite or small size) to also help maintain his teeth.
When I leave my home, he is placed in a crate. He does sleep with me, so I do not know how he is at night in a crate. He has not developed separation anxiety and is not destructive what so ever. When I am at home, he does follow me every where but he doesn't need to be on my lap 24/7 either which is nice. He knows a few commands, like "come" and "Inside". He is too small to reach furniture so he will need assistance or stairs, if you choose to let him on the furniture. When hes asking to get on the couch, he will either stand up, or walk over and turn side ways (facing your feet) so you can pick him up easier LOL. He's definitely a character.
I would prefer someone that can spend a lot of time with him. I want him to live comfortable, and peaceful. I AM IN NO HURRY TO PLACE HIM. I AM LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT HOME FOR HIM.
Adoption fee of $150 which includes his bed, food, and supplies.
